Mutuso Dhliwayo

Mutuso Dhliwayo is the Executive Director of the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association. He holds a Masters Degree in Environment and Development from the University of KwaZulu Natal and a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LLBS) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe . His special professional interest is promoting community participation in transboundary natural resources management initiatives through research and policy advocacy. He has worked with rural and poor communities in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park and the Zimbabwe Mozambique and Zambia transfrontier conservation area. He can be conducted on mutusod@zela.org

Shamiso Mtisi

Shamiso Mtisi is the Research and Documentation Coordinator at ZELA. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LLBS) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Certificate in Environmental Law from the IUCN Graduate Environmental Law Programme. He is also registered with the High Court of Zimbabwe as a legal practitioner, notary public and conveyancor. He underwent a Research Fellowship Programme at the Advocate Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE) in Uganda . He has done extensive research and advocacy work on environmental justice, intellectual property rights and farmer's rights. He can be contacted on shamiso@zela.org

Makanatsa Makonese

Makanatsa Makonese is the Senior Environmental Lawyer at ZELA. She holds a Masters Degree in Women's Law from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LLBS) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe . She has a passion to improve women's participation in environmental decision and policy making processes. She can be contacted on mmakonese@zela.org

Moilet Mtandwa

Moilet Mtandwa is the Finance and Administration Manager. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Midlands State University , a BSC Hons in Applied Accounting, ACCA, Diploma IOBZ, National Diploma in Accounting and is an NIA Associate. Moilet is in charge of the finance and administration department. Her interest is financial management. She can be contacted on moilet@zela.org

Gilbert Makore

Gilbert Makore is the Projects Coordinator at ZELA. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe . Gilbert is mainly responsible for fundraising, project designing, monitoring and evaluation and coordinating project activities. He has a passion for research that links social, economic and political issues to environmental management. He can be contacted on gilbert@zela.org

George Gapu

George Gapu is a part time Environmental Lawyer at the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LLBS) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe . He is also studying for a Diploma in International Environmental Law with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He manages the internship project and assists in environmental education as well as representing ZELA in litigation cases. He can be contacted on george@zela.org

Josiah Chinherende

Josiah Chinherende is a part time Environmental Lawyer at the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LLBS) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe . Bernadette Mandisodza

Jeremiah Mushosho

Jeremiah Mushosho is a student intern from the Midlands State University . He is doing a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environment. He has been with ZELA since January 2008.

Nyasha Chengeta

Nyasha Chengeta is a third year Bachelor of Laws student from the University of Zimbabwe . He has been on an environmental law internship with ZELA since 2007.

Fungai Mandisodza

Fungai Mandisodza is the messenger and office assistant. He has been with ZELA since 2003.
