Environmental Legal Compliance Programme

The Environmental Legal Compliance Programme is tailor made for the industrial and manufacturing sector to ensure that this sector complies with the applicable environmental laws and policies in Zimbabwe. It has been observed that the industrial and manufacturing sectors are the major polluters in Zimbabwe and therefore should be monitored. ZELA mostly carry out environmental, health and safety legal audits for industries that are working toward ISO 14001 certification. ZELA initiated this programme to audit companies for compliance as a strategic and timely measure to ensure that they comply with environmental legislation.
